Founded in 1931 with one single-engine Stinson plane, TACA Cargo offers specialized cargo and courier services.
Eighty years later we bridge the Three Americas serving customers at 42 destinations in 22 countries in North, Central, South America and the Caribbean, including flights to Toronto, Canada and nine major U.S. cities. Among our destinations are New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Sao Paulo, Lima, Quito, Bogota, Caracas, and Santo Domingo.
With the newest fleet across in North, Central and South America (comprised of 38 Airbus 319, 320 and 321 aircraft and two Embraer E190s), we transport our customers’ shipments using the most advanced aerospace technology. We also enjoy one of the best operational records in the industry, with IOSA certification (IATA Operational Safety Audit), an on-time arrival record exceeding 90%, and 99% compliance with scheduled itineraries. All of our aircraft are maintained by Aeroman ACTS, a company that also services distinguished U.S. airlines such as JetBlue and U.S. Airways.
Thanks to ongoing improvements and control over our commercial and operating processes, 98% of TACA CARGO shipments reach their final destination on the same day they go out. We strive to satisfy our customers by providing them with efficient service and warm and friendly treatment.
In 2003, in order to respond to the needs of customers who value speed in getting their shipments to their destination, we began to offer two innovative products: Premium and Must Go services. More recently, we added Personal Effects to respond to those who wish to quickly and easily send packages to friends and family members.
At TACA Cargo we continue to innovate and strengthen our operations and products by constantly monitoring logistics and periodically measuring satisfaction ratings in order to provide our customers with the best possible service in accordance with their needs.
